This February, we’re revisiting last February’s theme, “For the love,” as an homage to Valentine’s Day and some of the things that have captured our hearts. We’re skipping the romance, however, and honing in on hobbies, exercise, food and travel. Hop on a plane with Rachel Sviggim and her crew to travel to Kenya on a medical mission, grab your paddle and step onto the pickleball court with Denise Werner and her fun group of pickleballers, or pick up those knitting needles with Mindy Slettendahl so you can stay awake through a movie and maybe make a little income on the side!
Have you ever dreamed of writing novel? Melissa Meyers will tell you how she did it. Have you ever dreamed of the perfect brownie? Katie Yager has you covered. You may want to grab some binoculars and go birding with Karen Howden or dive deep into scripture with Gail Peterson’s LOGOS recommendation. The first chance you get, go introduce yourself to Mary Anne Fitz and Diane Witzig, two of the fascinating women featured in Faces of Calvary.
We’re excite to share these glimpses into the lives and activities of Calvary women, and we hope you LOVE the read!
