As Samuel nears the end of his life, he takes the time to challenge and encourage the people of Israel with a particular plea. He asks them to consider the praise-worthy character of God, remember all the good He has done for them, and implores them to respond with their obedience and repentance.

Hebrews 10 reveals the grace and mercy of God, and invites us to a heart posture of obedience, love, and good works. It also invites us to love and serve our brothers and sisters in Christ by being in community with them. 

It is essential that every believer must trust the truth, teach the truth, and expect transfer of the truth, despite, and because of, suffering. This is how we serve The Next Generation.

What happens when someone encounters the real, authentic Jesus? Saul, an infamous oppressor of Christians in the first century had his life turned completely around after an encounter with the real Jesus for the first time (instead of the false view he had had of Jesus previously). Jesus changes everything.

When it comes to the unity of the Church, our reputation and our witness are at stake, What is also at stake is our maturity. And that is why Paul exhorts us with this: walking worthy means walking in unity with all believers.

As we examine Psalm 51, we see David in what might be the lowest point in his life – the moment after Nathan confronts him with his abhorrent actions toward Bathsheba and Uriah. David shows us how we should feel about our sin, and how God’s mercy is everything.

Running parallel to our world is a digital world. If we follow the pattern Jesus gave to his disciples, we can engage in a way that acknowledges danger while still making an impact for the kingdom and learn how to “live sent” in the digital world.

In the chaos of a broken world, a God of order gives us unbreakable hope.
