Jesus offers us a relationship with him.  We can miss it, or find it but neglect it, or pursue it and grow it.   What causes us to miss it or find it and neglect it?  And what does it take to grow it?

The gospel is both lovely and commendable. What God has done to save us in Christ is beautiful. And that gospel restores our minds to see the beauty God’s creation; what we can commend and recommend to others. To think about what is honorable is to think about Christ, those people who honor and exemplify Christ, and to take on Christ-honoring character ourselves.

The Good News of Christ is, first and foremost, a statement of truth. A commitment to Christ is both a commitment to the truth of the gospel and to being a truth-teller and truth-seeker in the world.

The more we lean on the strength of Christ, the more content we become for God to shepherd us through every peak and valley.

It is an essential part of our Christian faithfulness to glorify God by using the mind he has given us.

Because the Lord is at hand, we are instructed to carry ourselves in such a way that we show the treasure we have in Christ.

God has called us to work diligently in the church to reconcile with others and to help others reconcile.

God intends for our eyes to continually see examples of Christ-likeness in our fellow church members so that we will stand strong as citizens of heaven in our world today.
