Renovaré sets the stage for women to draw near to God. We remove distractions and join our hearts in a common desire to know God more deeply. We worship in song, fellowship in love, and study God’s word. For over 30 years, Renovaré, formerly Coffee & Friends, has been the heartbeat of Women’s Ministries at Calvary, and as we move into the 2018-19 season, women of all ages and stages of life continue the lively pursuit of God, encouraging each other to draw near to our mighty God with sincere hearts and sure faith.

Our Renovare studies
Relational Skills in the Bible: A Bible Study Focused on Relationships
Your group will journey together all year through the Bible to look at relational skills from well-known people like Adam and Eve, Abraham, Jacob and Esau, Peter, the early church, and more. You will gain a fresh perspective from Genesis to Revelation on how the Lord created relationships and wants us to thrive in relationship with Him and others.
You will be inspired to actually build relational skills into your own life through exercises with your group. The thrill of growing and applying these new skills will only be outdone by experiencing joy-filled, thriving relationships both inside and outside of the group.
Leaders: Julie Zuehlke, Rena Laack, Lila Manuell
Precept Upon Precept Inductive Studies: Esther - A Man and a Woman for Such a Time As This
We will finish Romans Part 2 on February 27th. For the remaining weeks in the spring (starting March 12), we will be studying Esther.
Precept Workbook (NASB) 4 lessons (Please let Carolyn Whitford know by February 6 for ordering the materials) Cost $10
What is your purpose? God is always working in the affairs of His creation, even when we are unaware. This study shows us how Esther attained royalty to fulfill God’s purpose in her life and the lives of His people. Can God use you “for such a time as this”?
These inductive studies are standalone, so women are welcome to join who have not taken. We will go at a slower pace, taking 2 weeks per lesson.
Leaders: Vicki Tierney, Carolyn Whitford.
The Amazing Collection
This year we will cover the last three workbooks of the collection. This includes Paul’s letters to the churches (Romans-2nd Thessalonians); Paul’s letters to pastors (1st Timothy-Philemon); and Other letters and Revelation (Hebrews-Revelation).
Newcomers who have not studied the previous books are very welcome.
Leaders: Becky Isaacs, Sharon Kaihoi, Nancy Sobczak

Curiosity is hardwired in humanity. We have this innate need to question and seek after what we don’t know or understand.
Delve into Scripture to explore how God created us to seek after Him—a God who desires to be found and known. In this lifelong quest of faith, learn to develop your intimacy with Him and embrace the adventure that comes with living a life for God.

The Art of Neighboring
By Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon (Second Semester)
Not in a study? You are welcome to join us as we start up a new study February 6th, and you are welcome to join the last three weeks of “Why do you believe that?” if you wish.
Once upon a time, people knew their neighbors. They talked to them, had cook-outs with them, and went to church with them. In our time of unprecedented mobility and increasing isolationism, it’s hard to make lasting connections with those who live right outside our front door. We have hundreds of “friends” through online social networking, but we often don’t even know the full name of the person who lives right next door.
Leaders: Stephanie Conkright, Mindy Slettedahl
