¡Bienvenidos!
I’m Justine, and I am one of the leaders for the 2025 trip to the DR. As you can tell by those adorable faces in the picture (I know the kid is way cuter than me, but shhh!), I also went on the 2023 trip and loved it so much I decided to come back! While this blog post is largely to make sure I can actually figure out this whole technology thing, I will also tell you a bit about what to expect and what I’m expecting.
Don’t worry–you won’t be stuck with me every post. I am largely letting the students on the trip take the writing reins. They will talk about what they are looking forward to, what they’ve experienced thus far, and ways to pray for the trip, among other things.
As for what I’m expecting… well, I’m expecting some pretty awesome stuff to happen. Vague, I know, but appropriately so. Who knows what God will do? He’s got bigger and better plans than we can imagine, so I’m excited to see them play out! A lot of the time, awesome stuff happens when we pray, so the team would love it if you started praying for us now! I know our departure is fairly far away, but it’ll sneak up on us as fast as my college exams did during finals last week (yikes)!
The team is incredibly grateful for your ongoing, multifaceted support, and I look forward to updating you guys in the future!
