Can we trust God in adversity to be for us and not against us? “The Lord has afflicted me,” says Naomi in the opening chapter of the narrative. Using this book by John Piper, recently re-published as Sex, Race, and the Sovereignty of God, let’s gather to discuss and learn how God unfolds his saving power, and gracious purposes.
