Shepherding Communities
Calvary utilizes Shepherding Communities as the backbone of our discipleship strategy. In a Shepherding Community, people should feel a sense of connection, yes, but also feel challenged to live out their faith in authentic and meaningful ways. Small group participation is a high emphasis of our church culture, as well as a requirement of membership (though to be clear, a person doesn’t need to be a member to be a part of a group).
Whoever you are, we encourage you to find a small group! Some of our groups are similar age and stage groups, and some are intergenerational. There can be a beauty in both kinds of groups, to be sure.
