AWANA Club

Awana is a ministry that helps parents and churches raise children and youth to know, love, and serve Christ.
We offer Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 during the school year.
Our AWANA program is currently full. Please contact Kathy Bergquist @ kbergquist@calvaryefree.church if you are interested in volunteering to help with AWANA.

Kids enjoy memorizing Bible verses with an organized, topical system; participating in large-group worship and Bible teaching; and playing fun games. Awana embraces five principles, which have been adhered to since Awana first began in the 1950s.

  • Awana is centered on the gospel.
  • Scripture memory is key.
  • Awana is fun and exciting.
  • Children and youth are trained to serve.
  • Awana is built on strong leadership.
