Shepherding Communities
Calvary utilizes Shepherding Communities (small groups) as the backbone of our discipleship strategy. In a Shepherding Community, people should feel a sense of connection, yes, but also feel challenged to live out their faith in authentic and meaningful ways. Participation in SCs is a high emphasis of our church culture, as well as a requirement of membership (though to be clear, a person doesn’t need to be a member to be a part of a group).
Baptism Class
For those wanting to know more about what the Bible teaches on baptism. The one-hour baptism class is routinely scheduled during the year before our baptism services. Our next baptisms are on March 1 during the morning services.
