Registration Note

Our women’s summer gatherings typically fill up, so register early! Since space is limited, we are asking that women register for only 1 or 2 backyard or home hosted events. If your plans change and you will not be attending, please cancel your registration by logging into church center so the next person on the waitlist can take your spot. If you need help with your registration, please contact Gail Peterson, gpeterson@calvaryefree.church.

If a gathering is full, please register for the waitlist.  We may consider a second date or someone may cancel.

Book Discussions

Making Sense of God

Tim Keller compares our secular culture and Christianity in “Making Sense of God,”shining a light on the profound value and importance of Christianity in our lives. He also explores the secular culture, hopefully helping us gain a better understanding of the secular mindset enabling us to have more engaging and attractive conversations about our Christian faith with our skeptic friends and family. Highlighting or taking notes from the book is recommended to facilitate discussion.

Other Activites

Creative Practices with Watercolor Flowers

Join Jill Pearson in her home studio to watercolor some beautiful blooms and learn how to develop creative practices.  We will have time to visit and enjoy some refreshments after the class.  Jill is a professional watercolor painter/instructor at Riverwood Studio in Oronoco. This is the same class she taught at Renovare for Seminar Day, so if you participated in that one, please let others try it out this summer.

Flowers in August
