First of all, I hope you are planning to join us for The Parent Summit this next Saturday, March 17 from 9:00a-1:00p! Our focus this year is “Parenting On Purpose,” and we will be striving to provide practical and encouraging opportunities for parents of kids across the phases – from diapers to diplomas, as I like to say. We’ll have a wide array of speakers and topics. For more information, see the poster included at the bottom of the email. Please note that 1) lunch is provided with you $5 fee, you can sign up online, and we cannot provide childcare at this time (but we think this one is worth a sitter!).
Secondly, I want to introduce you to an opportunity that could help grow your parenting skills and help your family fall more in love with Jesus. We call it Dynamic Partnerships.
A Dynamic Partnership (or DP) is a formal partnership that families can choose to enter into that includes a series of strategic conversations, self-analysis, goal-setting, and reflection for parents. The process is mostly asynchronous with the opting-in family controlling most of the schedule. The process includes three assessments (online), a conversation with a DP leader, a conversation with a “Next Phase Family” (parents who have recently passed through the parenting phase you are currently in), and a few more pieces.
Would you be interested in learning more about Dynamic Partnerships?
If so, please email me ([email protected]) so I can invite you to an informational meeting in the coming weeks. Coming to the meeting does not, itself, commit you to anything – just come and see, and then decide from there!
Dynamic Partnership will become (and is becoming) a key piece of how Calvary is striving to equip families to develop the next generation to embrace A Faith Of Their Own. We would love to partner with you in this way!
Thank you so much for reading. We’ll see you for the next Feast.
