The excitement is genuinely building for me as I’m sure it is for much of our team. Yes, there is a lot of attention to details left to go over, logistics, preparation, planning, prayer, prayer, and even more prayer but I am so jacked to serve and see God move!
Sure I’m a little nervous, maybe even a tad scared but I’ve been there before and I’ve seen God carry me, sustain me, and transform me…oh, how I long for Him to transform me even more…Lord I pray, make me more like your son, create in me a heart like Jesus and fill me with your Holy Spirit, Amen.
Scripture is best lived out
I believe God’s word is living and active today! Check out this passage from 2 Corinthians 5:18-20:
“All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”
God’s word….. living in us……. we respond in active obedience.
God reconciled us through Christ to Himself and in turn commissioned us His official ambassadors. It’s only by the grace of God that can turn a former foe into a messenger. And it’s with that message we look with excitement the opportunity to be Ambassadors for Christ in the Dominican Republic.
On behalf of our team, thank you so much for all your support and prayers!!
May I leave you with two songs that express how grateful and excited I am 🙂
For His Glory,
