Hello Calvary Church Family,
As we all still find ourselves navigating the rapidly changing environment around the continuing viral pandemic, please know that your Calvary leadership team is prayerfully and carefully seeking how to best respond guided by the values that God put on our hearts during this time.
A new change immediately before us is on July 22nd the Minnesota Governor has issued Executive Order 20-81 mandating that face coverings must be worn in all indoor public settings. The Order does not make exceptions for churches. The Order states that face coverings must be worn to cover the nose and mouth completely, and can include a paper or disposable face mask, a cloth face mask, a scarf, a bandana, or a neck gaiter. The Order makes exemptions for individuals with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that makes it unreasonable for them to wear a face covering. This includes individuals who have a medical condition that compromises their ability to breathe. Children who are five years old and under are also exempt under the Order from having to wear a face covering.
Based on our values of caring for the safety and security of everyone in our church family, and following the guidance of the government we are subject to, Calvary is going to fully comply with this Order.
Because this Order goes into effect on Saturday, July 25th, it will impact our worship services beginning this Sunday, July 26th. If you plan to attend our 9:00 or 11:00 AM services, please plan on wearing a face covering unless you fall under one of the noted exemptions.
