The work of the gospel is not limited by anything. Not war, not bombs and tanks, and not people who wish to do it harm!
In that same spirit, Calvary is partnering with New Quarter Church in Kyiv, Ukraine, to help them rebuild and expand their church facility that was partially destroyed by a mortar. New Quarter, led by Pastor Andrei and Pastor Victor was planted by Irpin Bible Church, the church home of our long-time supported missionaries Charley and Cheryl Warner. The church has been a hub for help and aid services since the war came to their community.
The fundraising project includes several pieces to help aid ministry in Kyiv.
- Part 1: $6,000 to help improve the lower level, main worship space.
- Part 2: $29,000 to help repair the upper level of the building that was destroyed by a bomb. This space was used as classrooms for the church.
- Part 3: $35,000 to help rebuild and expand the current building for more ministry opportunities.
- Part 4: Any additional funds beyond the initial $70,000 will go to help a church-planting network that is supported by New Quarter, the Warners, and several others.
Additionally, we are excited to announce that a generous donor has also offered to match the first $17,500 that comes in for the fundraiser!
