Person Who Impacted You The Most
My wife Cindy has clearly had (and continues to have) the greatest impact upon my spiritual growth and personal development. She is a constant source of both encouragement and refining in my life.
Little Known Fact About You
I love long-distance back-packing, and am currently section-hiking the Appalachian Trail.
Defining Moment In Your Walk With God
When I was in my early thirties, someone who I had hurt very deeply in my teenage years confronted me about my sin and its impact upon them. Although I had followed Christ for many years at that point, I had lived with a veneer of self-righteousness up to that point. That was all stripped away by this confrontation, bringing me to the place where I saw the depth of my sin and the greatness of my need for the Gospel of Jesus Christ like I had never seen it before. My confession and steps of repentance did lead to reconciliation of that relationship, but I have never been the same since (in a good way) in how I see myself and my need for Christ!
